The majority of the services are subject to patient choice and national payment terms. The modification is for provision of these services for an additional year, therefore affecting the duration and value of the contract. Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract) This modification is to extend the existing contract for 12 months effective from 1st April 2021 to 31st March 2022 to the incumbent providers to maintain service provision, consistent with PCR 2015 Regulation 72(1)(b). The increase is due to the tariff and choice rules which limit commissioner ability to contain spend. The modification contract value is £29,140,152.
