Mid Ulster District Council (MUDC/Council) on behalf of a partner consortium including: • Mid Ulster District Council Health, Leisure and Wellbeing Department (MUDC HLW) • Mid Ulster Policing Community Safety Partnership (PCSP) • Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE) • Northern Health and Social Care Trust (NHSCT) • Public Health Agency (PHA) • Southern Health and Social Care Trust (SHSCT) seeks a single tender for all parts of the contract from: • a single provider, or • consortium bid from a lead provider in the voluntary and community sector for the provision of services to older people as part of its Ageing Well initiative. The key services are: • Good Morning / afternoon Service • Handy Van Service • Older people’s engagement and connection within the community taking account of COVID-19 • Referrals between key services for older people • Partnership Working where it will link to existing programmes targeting older people including, but not limited to; dementia programmes, Health Community Navigator programme, Home Safety, Energy support, Active participation, Policing and Community Safety, Diet and Nutrition, Physical Activity, Community Development, Loneliness, Age friendly programmes, support for carers and Mental Health and Wellbeing. While consortium bids are welcome, Mid Ulster District Council in its role as contract administrator seek to deal only with a single lead provider on all matters relating to the tender and any subsequent contract for services.
