Coverage: 30 active published awards; 30 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Planning and rationale

No-engagement rationaleNot published |
Procedure rationaleMarine Scotland's vessels can be at sea for up to three weeks at a time, staff must abide by the working time directive. That means that staff will have 11 hours free time during the day for which Marine Scotland have to provide suitable entertainment. This is also helpful to provide up to date information on present day events which is important in the operations of our compliance role. In investigations the digital TV market, only one major provider is available as others rely on cable connections which is not appropriate for vessels. |
