Published requirement descriptionBarnsley Council is procuring Independent Placement and Support (IPS) services to provide employment support to out of work residents through the Connect to Work programme. IPS is designed to offer specialised and tailored support to residents experiencing significant barriers to employment.
- No preliminary market engagement: This procurement was initiated following the sudden allocation of external funding which required swift deployment. Due to the late notification of this funding and the short timeframe between initial contact from the service and the required contract start date, there was insufficient time to undertake meaningful premarket engagement.
