Concessionaire to design, install, operate and remove a high

quality temporary dining venue at West Cliff Beach, Bournemouth for the 2026 summer

season.

The concessionaire will deliver a premium, food-led hospitality offer in compliance with all

planning, licensing and statutory requirements.

The contract will operate for a ten-week period from 1 July 2026 to 13 September 2026.

The estimated total turnover (gross revenue) is £250,000 (excluding VAT)

How bids were scored

Lot awarding rule: The contract will be awarded on the basis of the most advantageous tender (MAT), with evaluation based on a 70% quality and 30% financial weighting. Quality will be assessed against criteria including: - Relevant experience in delivering similar hospitality operations and the proposed approach to applying that experience - Proposed infrastructure and visual design of the temporary hospitality venue - Event management approach, including health and safety, licensing and operational compliance - Food and beverage offering and its suitability for the target market - Approach to sustainability and reducing environmental impact Financial evaluation will consider the commercial return to the Council.
