It is envisaged that up to a 4 / 5 chair dental surgery could be built. \nWest Carclaze Garden Village is a new housing development of c. 1,500 homes, in St. Austell, Cornwall. \nNHS CIOS ICB, in collaboration with Cornwall Council, have the opportunity to potentially utilise a Section 106 building for the development of a purpose built dental practice in West Carclaze Garden Village. This follows public engagement which identified a preference from local residents for access to NHS dental services within the new housing development.  \nThe precise scope of the contract is still to be determined but, as a guide, the ICB anticipates commissioning 22,000 UDAs at a rate of £40.00 per UDA based on 24/25 prices. This equates to an indicative annual contract value of £880,000. \nThe Commissioner anticipates contracting for the services under a PDS agreement for a period of up to 10 years. \nFollowing an initial market scoping exercise undertaken in Spring 2025 (FTS Notice reference: 2025/S 000-003061), NHS CIOS ICB would like to invite interested parties to attend a market engagement event, held virtually through Microsoft Teams on the following date:\n10:00am - 12:00pm Wednesday 24th September 2025 \nThe purpose of the event will be to share further information of the commissioner's objectives and proposals for the service, as well as further information on the development site. This will include sharing proposals of the associated costs relating to the building and who will own the building. \nThe event will also provide an opportunity for the Commissioners and developers to gain valuable feedback from prospective providers, given this is a new and exciting opportunity to potentially work with a provider to create a new purpose built dental building.\nTo register to attend the event, interested parties should follow the link to the e-procurement system, Atamis, search for the opportunity by clicking on 'View our Live Opportunities' from the home page, then submit the following details using the messaging function within the system:\n•\tOrganisation\n•\tAttendee Name/s\n•\tAttendee Title/s\n•\tAttendee email address/es\n•\tPhone number/s\nPlease note that you will need to be registered on Atamis, and then select the option to 'register an interest' under the project titled 'Market Engagement:  West Carclaze Dental Practice', project reference C386042 to be able to submit your expression of interest to attend the event using the messaging function. \nhttps://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome \nAvailability for this event is limited to a maximum of two individuals per organisation.
