BHC will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period at the point information on the award of contract is communicated to all bidders. The standstill period provides time for unsuccessful bidders to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into. The Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016 (as amended) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (Northern Ireland)
Publisher note: Following a review of the end user requirements, BHC has decided not to proceed with this project on the Design & Build basis previously advertised and will therefore not be progressing any further with this tender process. It is anticipated that the project will instead be procured via a traditional procurement approach and BHC will shortly commence a new tender process on that basis. This new competition will be advertised via a new contract notice published in Find a Tender in due course.
