Coverage: 41 active published awards; 41 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Procedure rationaleWe have received the GOL from UKRI stating that the Maxcyte VLX system must be used.
Our role in this project is to optimise a process that has already been defined and tested between Oxford University, Maxcyte and Absolute Antibody. The Maxcyte equipment has to be used otherwise we would be changing the process, which we cannot do. The project needs to finish by March and if we use a piece of equipment that none of the partners are familiar with it will cause delays.
Our account manager at Maxcyte has also confirmed that they're the sole provider of Maxcyte products in the UK, as well as providing a supporting document stating why only Maxcyte products should be used with the VLX system. |
