Universities delivering Orthoptic pre-registration programmes in England

Health Education England are putting out this notice as a PIN (Prior Information Notice) with a view to completing a Direct Award to the University of Sheffield, University College London and University of Liverpool<br/><br/>The case for direct award can be found on the tender portal.<br/><br/>HEE is seeking providers to deliver a fully integrated blended learning programme that strategically develops placement capacity for orthoptics across the country.<br/>HEE believes that the three Universities identified for this partnership make them uniquely placed to deliver this service for the following reasons:<br/>

• already have the necessary links in orthoptic educational provision and therefore will be able to undertake this work<br/>
• all three have a track record of delivering innovative projects in education<br/>
• have existing strong relationship with HEE in the successful delivery of health educational programmes<br/>
• have expertise and established programmes in delivering orthoptic education<br/>
