Published requirement descriptionSupport services for Unaccompnied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) ensure that their immediate needs are met upon arrival in Kent, prior to entering the care of the local authority. Subsequent orientation sessions are designed to provide early stage information about the asylum process in the UK and other information relevant to a newly arrived child in the UK.
The Service operates alongside, and in collaboration with the Authority and a range of other services and Suppliers to enable the effective operation of the system to manage and support UASC.

Termination Statement The Authority hereby confirms that, following the publication of a tender notice in respect of this procurement, it has decided not to award the contract and has therefore terminated the procurement process. Date of Decision not to sign contract 30th January 2026 Reason(s) for not signing contract The procurement has been terminated due to a change in Authority requirements, including an updated assessment of the specification and the ITT documentation needed to support the intended scope. Following a further internal review, it was determined that the requirements had changed in a material manner, resulting in the need to revise the approach before proceeding with any future procurement activity.
