What is being bought
The Weston CDC will be operated by InHealth Group, contracted through a separate contractual agree with University Hospitals of Bristol and Weston (UHBW). The Weston CDC will deliver additional, digitally connected, diagnostic capacity providing appropriate patients with a coordinated set of diagnostic tests in the community, in as few visits as possible, enabling an accurate and fast diagnosis on a range of a clinical pathways. The modalities operated from the Weston CDC will be as follows, for UHBW patients (unless stated otherwise): • MRI • CT • Dexa • Plain Film X-Ray • Non-Obstetric Ultrasound ("NOUS") • Transthoracic Echocardiogram ("TTE", "Echo") • Endoscopy (also University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHSFT ("UHBW") and Primary Care patients are seen at North Bristol CDC) • Respiratory Physiology The Commissioner is directly awarding, following direct award process A, a contract to University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust in accordance with the criteria outlined in Regulation (9) of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.
