What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionThe project will update the 2017 Seafarer Projections report , published by DfT, to assess the UK supply and demand for trained seafarers, at all levels, to fulfil roles at sea and onshore over the next decade. This evidence is needed to underpin the Department's £18 million Support for Maritime Training Fund.

- Progress Report — Monthly reports should be provided to the DfT contract manager. Steering Group progress reports will be provided to the DfT contract manager by email, 5 working days before meetings. Reports should include any findings, next steps in the project plan, risks or concerns and should include the names of individuals responsible for the work.
- Risk Monitoring — The Supplier will issue a risk register in the form of a table and must include a RAG rating and mitigation strategy. The risk register must raise any concerns about the possibility of failing to meet the overall deadline and lack of relevant information to meet the requirements.
- Communication — The Supplier shall acknowledge any communications from the contract manager within 2 working days
- Emergencies — If there is an urgent issue, the Supplier shall make the contract manager aware of this within 2 working days.
