Coverage: 17 active published awards; 12 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
LSL/MED/0020 was originally awarded in June 2018 for an initial two‑year term (with extension options), expiring on 30 May 2020. The contract has since been extended. As the contract approached its extension expiry in December 2025, significant delays were encountered while working with the customer to define an expanded scope, including the potential introduction of a 3D scanning capability to be incorporated into a future procurement. To ensure continuity of supply, an extension of the existing contract LSL/MED/0020 for a period of 18 months was required, extending the contract to 31 May 2027. This extension provides sufficient time to conduct a compliant re‑let, including the planning and implementation of a six‑month trial period, which is a critical element of the procurement strategy. The value of this extension is £1,500,00.00 for the 18-month extension. The future tender, LSL/MED/0220, will include two pass/fail evaluation questions and a number of information‑only questions relating to 3D scanning capability. The contract will initially be awarded for the supply of custom‑made orthotics only, with the intention of adding a compliant 3D scanning capability at a later stage, informed by the information submitted by bidders as part of the tender process. Leidos reserves the right not to award the 3D scanning capability where no compliant or suitable information is received. The estimated value of LSL/MED/0220, including the potential incorporation of the 3D scanning requirement, is approximately £4,579,200 over four years. The contract will be for 4 years, with an option to add up to 2 years to allow the possible introduction of a 3D scanning capability and has been released 26/05/2026.
