Nodal Damper Coupling (NDC) fluid level check 2. Gearbox bearing and final alignment verification 3. Cylinder Liner Nose O-ring Renewal 4. Liner deglazing and Piston Ring Pack replacement 5. Cylinder Head Decarbonising and Pressure Test 6. Jacket Water Pump. 7. Standard Service Procedures Within procedures 1 – 6 carry out standard service work to include: • Recalibration of fuel injectors (does not include nozzle replacement) • Pressure testing of internal fuel system • Renewal of lube oil filter elements (engine) • Renewal of lube oil filter elements (gearbox) • Renewal of fuel filter elements • Re-setting of exhaust valve tappet clearances • Visual Inspection of internal pipework • Visual Inspection of camshaft assembly and drive gear train • Visual Inspect all coolers and heat exchangers for external leakages • Operational check and adjustment of mechanical overspeed • Operational check and adjustment of decompression system • Renewal of all crankcase and camshaft door joints • Check and record crankshaft deflections • Measure and record crankshaft end float • Operational check and adjustment of internal and external fuel rack linkage • Operational check of engine and gearbox lube oil pre-prime system 8. Recalibration of on engine sensors 9. Re-commissioning / load test The engineer/s working on the project must have in-depth knowledge of ESL 16 twin bank engines, with proven evidence of experience. The successful supplier will provide spares when required, within a reasonable lead time.
