Coverage: 96 active published awards; 8 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
TfGM are responsible for the management of bus stations and bus depots across Greater Manchester, which includes ensuring the safety of customers and employees frequenting these sites. Given the environment, there are moving vehicles and pedestrians in close proximity resulting in the possibility of harm, which may be caused by speeding vehicles. TfGM currently has a number of electronic speed signs in place, along with standalone speed cameras that monitor vehicle speeds at a small number of locations. TfGM are looking to expand and improve this type of equipment across all bus stations and want to engage with suppliers to ensure that this is the optimal means of ensuring safety outcomes on sites and various locations. As well as to understand the current market offering for these types of services, including estimated costs etc. TfGM have published an RFI for interested suppliers to take part in. Details of which can be found below. Once the closing date for responses has passed, we will analyse the results and this will inform a procurement strategy, the details of which are still to be determined. Any learning gained from this early engagement will be shared with interested parties. Routes to market under existing frameworks or tender procedures (open and competitive flexible tenders for example) are being appraised separately. Details in this notice re contract length and extensions is also an estimate and any tender that comes from this might be different. TfGM are not obliged to keep to any terms, costs etc. provided at this time.
