The University intends to awards the contract extension pursuant to Regulation 32 of Public Contracts Regulations 2015, under the Negotiated Procedure without Prior Publication.
This is justified under Reg. Reg. 32(2)(c), with the extension providing service continuity after the failure of the previous attempt to run a tender. This extension will grant sufficient time to prepare a full tender for the services for when the contract ends. Pre-market engagement has already started and a tender process will commence during 2023.
Publisher note: The University intends to enter into the contract extension after a 10-day standstill period - commencing 10 days after the publication date of this notice.
