Published requirement description

The Contract covers the supply of hardware and software (“the Goods”), which includes evaluating potential high-technology-readiness-level solutions from multiple original equipment suppliers (OEMs) by trialling their ability to interface with the S2087 System and deliver the required capability enhancements. When trials are successful, the Goods will be designed, built and installed on the S2087 System, which is in service on Royal Navy frigates. 114 required capability enhancements have been identified for the S2087 System. The aim of the Project is to deliver as many capability enhancements as is reasonably possible within the timeframe and estimated value.
