What is being bought
The Western Health and Social Care Trust is conducting this procurement process to establish a Contract for the provision of a Short Stay Break Service, for Children and Young People from aged 7 years old up to and including 17 years old. The overarching driver of the Service is to promote and encourage resilience and independence within Young People and strengthen positive parenting capacity within the family home and / or placement for carers. These young people will have experienced difficulties, which may be putting them at risk of family and / or placement breakdown and who are actively involved with the Western Health and Social Care Trust. Each Short Stay Break will consist of 4 days and 3 nights in a venue suitable for Short Stay Breaks which will provide a safe, structured and young person centred environment where nutritious meals are included. The provision of Indoor and Outdoor Activity sessions should help to strengthen relationship-based interventions whilst providing fun and positive social interactions.
