What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionUnited under the TeamUCL Brand, Students' Union UCL invites proposals from sports clothing companies to provide playing kit and leisure wear for TeamUCL. The intention is to engage a supplier for a period of three years, with the option to extend for a further two 12-month periods to a maximum of five years. The appointed supplier will work closely with TeamUCL colleagues to ensure we are provided with exciting, wearable clothing designs that meet our requirements set out in this tender. Annual expenditure on teamwear orders is estimated to be in the range of £50,000-£70,000, with an additional £8,000-£12,000 generated through individual or online shop orders.

- How the procedure runs: Proposals will be measured using the following criteria which will each carry a weighting. To ensure the evaluation reflects the priorities of the students who will be using the kit, the weightings will be finalised after the ITT goes live and informed by the results of the upcoming student survey. • Company profile (pass/fail) • References (pass/fail) • Product quality: including fabric, fit, design, durability and options for customisation • Financial assessment: cost and value for money • Delivery structure and sales model (e.g. online shop) • Sustainability: environmental and ethical performance of both product and supplier Proposals will be evaluated by a panel comprising Students' Union staff including representatives from TeamUCL alongside elected Student Sabbatical Officers. Product samples will be assessed separately by students through dedicated testing sessions. Successful applicants will be invited to a panel interview w/c 8 June 2026.
