Coverage: 58 active published awards; 58 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
The Community Empowerment project aims to build the capacity of local communities across North, East, South and West Belfast, strengthening civic voice and community participation in issues that affect them. It will target individuals with an interest in helping shape the future of their local area with respect to community cohesion, good relations, the physical landscape, infrastructural developments, service provision, partnership working and collaboration. It will involve 1,000 people over three years in a variety of activities: 10 tailored local community empowerment programmes addressing gaps and needs, an accredited leadership programme, a non-accredited series of training workshops, a community capacity building forum and best practice visits and learning events. This project forms parts of the Belfast PEACEPLUS Local Community Action Plan, which is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
