T25-189CAP Pool Lighting Upgrade Contractors Combined PQQ ITT

Derry City and Strabane District Council (DCSDC) have instructed the appointment of an IST to install replacement lighting systems to the Swimming Pools in the 4 facilities, including all ancillary works. IST to install Lighting Systems that achieves minimum lighting levels of 300 lux in the Pool Halls. The Lighting Systems should be economical, low maintenance, energy efficient with long service lives and have simple controls. IST to install Lighting Systems that are flexible and can co-ordinate with current and future Lifeguard Zone Visibility Tests. IST to complete ancillary works that will enhance the Lighting Systems and Lifeguard Zone Visibility Tests. Works to include: Painting of Elements such as walls, ceilings, fixtures or fittings to reduce glare. Incorporation of blinds to windows to reduce glare. Re-location of fixtures and fittings to reduce glare. IST to programme works that will minimise disruption to the Leisure Centres. IST to manage the Works from RIBA Stage 5 (Construction) to RIBA Stage 7 (Use).
