Support and Maintenance of AV Equipment at the Engine Shed in Stirling. The scope of the support contract will include: - Biannual preventative maintenance visits - Emergency callout service - RMA administration - Global helpdesk service

Delivery: Scotland

Extensions: The Contracting Authority reserves the right to request additional deliveries by the Successful Tenderer, either intended as partial replacement of supplies or installations or as extensions of existing supplies and installations. The Contracting Authority may at it's sole discretion exercise this option.

Why no open competition: The procurement falls outside the scope of application of the directive
Published justification: HES intends to award to the Supplier on the basis that competition is absent for technical reasons. The equipment in question is specialist legacy equipment. Given the nature of the services described in II.2.4 of this notice, the necessary support and maintenance, along with the bespoke software application developed specifically to operate the auditorium, can only be provided by the Supplier who originally installed the system.
