The radios are to replace Motorola MTH800 radios and replacements must have at least the same range of functionalities and operating parameters as these radios and be of similar size, although possibly a smaller model/mixture of smaller and larger models may be acceptable. If mixed sized models are to be considered they must be capable of using the same batteries. If approximately 8000 radios were bought it is intended that they would be supplied between March and June of 2023, if a larger number were to be bought timescales would be extended for several months.
