The statutory advocacy services currently provided under this contract for the County Council are:•\tIndependent Mental Capacity Advocacy – for people who lack capacity, covering safeguarding, serious medical treatment, changes of accommodation and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards•\tIndependent Mental Health Advocacy – for people who are detained under certain sections of the Mental Health Act, or subject to compulsory treatment in the community•\tIndependent Social Care Advocacy – covering people who have substantial difficulties in understanding and being involved in decisions about their care and support•\tNHS complaints – for people who have experienced problems with health treatment and care.The service will be retendered over the winter of 2023/24.",
