Coverage: 117 active published awards; 91 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
The project, Upstream Thinking, is a joint venture between the Centre for Resilience in Environment, Waste and Water (CREWW) and South West Water. This phase of the project centres on water quality in 8 catchments within Devon and Cornwall. We are looking for the capability to analyse for taste and odour compounds with high precision, mainly Geosmin and MIB at this time, but also to allow for the measurement of a wide range of compounds, which will future proof the equipment and increase the scope of the research going forward. To achieve this, we are looking to purchase a single quadrupole GCMS and an accurate mass GCMS.
