    We hope to use the CRF to develop new ways of working together, encouraging partnerships and alliances across the sector in support of families/residents of Somerset who are living in poverty. We are pleased to invite you to a dedicated engagement event to explore how we can work together to deliver on the new DWP Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF), launching on 1 April 2026. This engagement session will provide an opportunity to: • Share early thinking on the CRF • Discuss how we can co-design a joined-up, community-led delivery model • Identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships and preventative support • Ensure the voice and expertise of the VCFSE sector is central to shaping local implementation Your insights and experience are vital to ensuring the fund delivers meaningful outcomes for residents. We hope you can join us in this important conversation. Event Details Date: 24 September 2025 Time: 13:00-15:00 Location: Confirmation will be received upon registration for the event RSVP by: 22 September 2025 Expression of interest in attending: If you would like to attend this event, please let us know by emailing stephen.barker@somerset.gov.uk giving the names and email addresses of those people who would attend (max. 2 per organisation). Please ensure that those attending from your organisation are the most appropriate to feed into the discussions.
