Published requirement descriptionScottish Water requires suppliers to provide self drive tankers and self drive vacuum excavators.<br/><br/>Hiring should support short term needs however the option of long term hires will be required.<br/><br/>Suppliers will be required to have the ability to cover all areas of Scotland. <br/><br/>This procurement will be split into two lots :<br/><br/>Lot 1 – Self Drive Tankers<br/>Lot 2 – Self Drive Vacuum Excavators<br/><br/>The framework will be for an initial period of 4 years plus 4 x 1 year extension options at the discretion of Scottish Water.

Scottish Water requires suppliers to provide a self-drive hire tankering vehicles to be driven by Scottish Water operatives. <br/><br/>Hiring should support short term needs however the option of long term hires will be required.<br/><br/>Suppliers will be required to have the ability to cover all areas of Scotland. <br/><br/>Vehicles fit for the purpose of each job regards vehicle size and capacity must be available. Vehicles offering must include:<br/>
- Vehicles suitable for off road empties i.e. tractor and bowser<br/>
- 2000 gallon rigid tanker<br/>
- 3000 gallon rigid tanker<br/>
- 4000 gallon rigid tanker<br/>

Scottish Water requires suppliers to provide self drive vacuum excavators.<br/><br/>Hiring should support short term needs however the option of long term hires will be required.<br/><br/>Suppliers will be required to have the ability to cover all areas of Scotland.<br/><br/>The purpose of this procurement is to provide safe and efficient Self-Drive Vacuum Excavation Vehicles to support business requirements, particularly around buried utility services, pipelines, and other critical infrastructure. Vacuum excavation is the preferred method due to its precision, reduced risk of utility strikes, and minimal environmental impact compared to conventional excavation methods.<br/><br/>Vehicles fit for the purpose of each job regards vehicle size and capacity must be available. Vehicles offering must include within this range:<br/><br/>
- 3.5 tonnes<br/>
- 7.5 tonnes<br/>
- 12 tonnes<br/>
- 18 tonnes<br/>
- 26 tonnes<br/>
