Coverage: 1 active published awards; 1 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
Mid and East Antrim Borough Council would like to procure contractors and make appointments to a select list for the provision of a fleet maintenance service to support the in house vehicle maintenance provision. The contractors will be expected to perform service delivery either on their own site or where appropriate on the relevant Council site. The Council already have in place contracts for Operator licence preventive maintenance inspections and supply and fitting of tyres so these do not form as part of this tender. In order to ensure best value, expertise and minimum vehicle downtime, it will be the responsibility of the authorised Council Officer to decide whether a job will be completed within Council or by one of the agreed specialist contractors on the select list. Using the combination of contractors and Council in house provision will deliver a range of work such as planned preventative maintenance, servicing, and emergency repairs. Typical vehicle maintenance work required is set out below: • Servicing of vehicles, plant and machinery • Repairs including emergency repairs • Planned preventative maintenance • PSV/MOT preparation, welding, LOLER testing and presentation of vehicles for testing. • Repair to Bin Lift packing system • Hydraulics repairs • Electrical repairs
