SDF3 Project – De-carbonisation of Marine Vessels Falmouth Marine School, Killigrew Street, Falmouth. TR11 3QSTo further extend that initial project, Falmouth Marine School require the services of a consultant who is conversant with the development of bespoke Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) and Royal Yachting Association (RYA) training packages for the small vessel sector. The applicant should also have a clear understanding and knowledge of the delivery of Higher Education study programmes as would be relevant to a maritime industry cadetship program to develop learners for progression to either Engineering Officer, Deck Officer or Hotel management roles within this industry.Requirements:The applicant will be required to:Demonstrate recent experience of:Working with learners within the small vessel sector and should be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of recruitment in to this industry.Working with training organisations and other HEI’s relevant to the small vessel sectorDeveloping relevant support from personnel and organisations that are active within the maritime industryLead on the development of a "Schools based Discovery Event" to focus on Sustainable Development within the maritime industryAssist the college in seeking bursary funding support for new learners wishing to enter in to employment within this industryTime scale:The college expects to have received confirmation of funding by mid-October 2023 and will then formally publish a detailed list of requirements for tender.
