Coverage: 14 active published awards; 13 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
Scottish Canals invites tenders for the appointment of an Immersive Exhibition Design & Installation Company (the Supplier) to undertake the design, build and installation of a new, purpose-built Immersive Experience and Exhibition (the Experience) at The Falkirk Wheel – one of Scotland’s most iconic visitor attractions.
The existing visitor offer at The Falkirk Wheel is highly successful but is predominantly outdoor, seasonal and operationally constrained. There is currently a gap in the offer for a high-quality, all-weather, emotionally engaging experience that deepens understanding of the site, supports paid entry and encourages longer dwell times.
The Immersive Experience Building forms a cornerstone project within the wider Falkirk Wheel Masterplan and will play a central strategic role in enhancing the visitor offer, restructuring the customer journey, and supporting the commercial, operational and experiential success of the site.
