What is being bought

Published requirement description

It is Rural Stirling Housing Association’s intention to enter into a Framework Agreement with up to three Contractors in order to carry out routine maintenance and reactive repairs as may be necessary to hard and soft landscaped areas at the Association’s housing stock located throughout the rural Stirlingshire area commencing on 1 April 2022 until 31st March 2026.

It is the Association’s intention that the Bidder achieving the highest combined score following the price and quality assessment will be deemed the Preferred Contractor and will carry out the works in full, based on the rates contained within the Tender. Should the Preferred Contractor fail to perform to a satisfactory level then subsequent works will be offered to the contractor who is ranked second. This process will continue with the third placed contractor if the second placed contractor cannot commit to the works (nor perform to the required standard).

  • Recurrence: 48 months from date of this procurement.

CPV: Grassing services · Grounds maintenance services · Horticultural services · Landscape gardening services · Landscaping work · Repair and maintenance services · Tree pruning and hedge trimming

What this means for your bid
  • Price carries 400 of 1000 points: a 10% discount moves about 40 points. The method statement decides this lot, not the discount.
  • “Rural Stirling H.A. Grounds Maintenance Framework 2022-2026” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, up to 3 suppliers, not a single contract.

Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
