Coverage: 249 active published awards; 99 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

No-engagement rationaleNot published |
Procedure rationaleThe P-8A DT require a maintenance and service plan for the in use Rhinowash rig stationed at RAF bases. Given that the Rhinowash equipment is bespoke to the company itself, the service contract will be through the manufacturer as they have expert knowledge of the equipment. In accordance with the low value procurement commercial policy, we are going down the single source route due to the above reasons. Additionally, the DT recognises that any additional value gained through competing this low value requirement is outweighed by the cost, time and effort the competitive process involves. |
