For the purposes of this RFI, case and contact management refers to the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of individuals who are infected with, exposed to, or otherwise at risk from an infectious disease. This may include activities such as:
Identification and reporting of cases;
Detection and assessment of exposure to infection;
Identification and notification of contacts or potentially exposed individuals;
Investigation of transmission events and outbreaks;
Delivery of public health advice, guidance and behavioural interventions;
Management of isolation and quarantine activities, where appropriate;
Monitoring compliance, outcomes and effectiveness of interventions;
Collection and analysis of data to inform situational awareness and public health decision-making;
Linking and enriching data to support investigation and response (including advice, testing, administration of antivirals/antibiotics etc);
Interoperability with our existing systems seamlessly from local to national level with other aspects of PH management; and
Scalable and flexible for future health threats,
