Coverage: 40 active published awards; 25 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

21 Aug 2025, 23:59 BST · scheduledManchester City Council is committed to working collaboratively with both existing and prospective providers of residential and nursing care for adults as part of the re-design of care home services. This engagement process represents a key opportunity to co-develop a future model of care that is responsive, inclusive, and sustainable. We will be hosting a virtual market engagement session on Tuesday 26th August at 12pm - 2pm. Through this engagement session we aim to: Explore how care home services contribute to the Achieving Better Outcomes Together programme, align with the 10-Year care home strategy, overarching commissioning plan and the Our Manchester strategy. Inform providers about the current market landscape including demographics for key service areas and share our contracting ambitions. Utilise provider insights to develop a range of commissioning and contract management options. This includes shaping service specifications, key performance indicators (KPIs), outcome and quality assurance measures, and identifying opportunities for innovation. We encourage all interested organisations to participate in this process and help shape the future of adult care home provision in Manchester. If you are interested in attending, please contact Gemma Williams - Commissioning Manager at gemma.williams2@manchester.gov.uk by no later than Thursday 21st August 2025.
