        "description": "The Northern Lighthouse Board is seeking the services of an experienced and competent service providers for the survey, design, manufacture, supply, delivery and installation of a mechanical bearing system and ancillary components at Sumburgh Head Lighthouse \nAs part of this refurbishment it is proposed that the Mercury is removed from site and the lens rotation system is upgraded to a Replacement mechanical bearing with associated controls. \nA key objective of the project is the retention of the First Order Fresnel lens which is of historical importance. As such the successful Tenderer of this Mechincal Bearing System tendering exercise will  be named and appointed as a nominated sub-contractor to  the successful principle contractor of Sumburgh Head Lighthouse Major Refurbishment project which is scheduled to commence in March 2022. Additional information: Market Engagement Pre Site Visit\nA site visit will take place on Tuesday 7th September 2021 at 10am at Sumburgh Lighthouse.    Full meeting instruction will be issued on Friday 3rd September 2019. Suppliers attending the site visit should contact Donald Innes, via Delta eProcurement at  https://www.delta-esourcing.com/  by 12:00hrs on Friday 3rd September 2019."
