Coverage: 0 active published awards; 0 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Ulster Wildlife is seeking a quote for remediation of an area of lead contaminated peat at Ballynahone Special Area of Conservation (SAC) in County Derry. Up to 5 tonnes of lead may have been deposited when Ballynahone was used as a clay pigeon shooting range between 1966 and 1986 (EHS 2004). Ulster Wildlife requires a contractor to trim adjacent wooded vegetation to allow access of machinery to the contaminated area; excavation of the peat and removal, treatment and safe disposal of contaminants; installation of peat contour bunds and levelling of the area to <0.5% to leave the area suitable for restoration and active peat formation. A site visit is planned for Tuesday 12th October and you are asked to contact trish.fox@ulsterwildlife.org by noon on Monday 11th October 2021 to book in.
