What is being bought
The Department for Business and Trade (“DBT”) has a potential requirement to help it deliver the commitments that have been set out in the cross-cutting Mclean review response and the White Paper Smarter Regulation: Delivering a Regulatory Environment for Innovation, Investment and Growth to develop a cross-sector secondment programme and to develop an online platform to increase the visibility of jobs and career opportunities across all regulators in the UK.

- Lot 1 · #1Individual lot title not publishedactivePublished value£160,000The DBT Smarter Regulation Directorate require an external provider, with knowledge of regulation and experience of working with regulators in all parts of the UK to: • develop a (or enhance an existing) Jobs Board that all (approximately 185) regulators can use to advertise their job vacancies; • develop a cross-sector regulator: • secondment programme • graduate/apprenticeship rotation programme • promote careers in regulation and highlight professional and training opportunities The provider must be able to demonstrate that they have experience of working with regulators on a day-to-day basis, understand the recruitment, retention and training issues that regulators currently face and the skills that regulators require in their workforce to deliver their objectives. They must also understand the political and policy environment in which regulators operate, including the restraints on public sector pay. The provider must also be able to demonstrate that they have experience of and/or an understanding of developing recruitment programmes at different entry levels (e.g. apprenticeship, graduate) and secondment programmes.
