What is being bought
The requirement is for a Contract for the Provision of a Vehicle Recovery Scheme. The Contract is divided into the following two (2) lots; Lot 1 – Recovery of Light Vehicles Lot 2 – Recovery of Heavy Vehicles A number of Contractors shall be appointed and assigned to specific areas for the purpose of operating a Vehicle Recovery Scheme to Staffordshire Police. It is anticipated that a number of Contractors shall be appointed to, and assigned to, specific areas for the purpose of operating a Vehicle Recovery Scheme. For the avoidance of doubt the allocation of recovery operators to specified areas shall be at the sole discretion of the Authority, based on the geography and the location of the Tenderers premises and or accessibility to arterial routes. The Contractor shall operate a Vehicle Recovery Scheme, which will ensure that the Authority receives a high-quality recovery, removal, storage and disposal of motor vehicle service within the Staffordshire Police Force Area.
