Coverage: 1 active published awards; 1 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board received notice from the incumbent provider that provision of the St Pauls, Bristol Mandatory Dental Services contract would cease at short notice, displacing a large number of patients in a highly deprived area within Bristol.
Urgent market analysis and engagement activity was undertaken, including approaching all practices within a five-mile radius in order to seek expressions of interest to take on additional activity. In parallel, SGA Services Limited, who currently hold another NHS contract within Bristol were identified as having the capability and capacity to take on management of the practice and the residual activity, and continue to provide services to the local population within the extremely short timescales available.
Due to the extreme urgency of the need to continue to provide Mandatory Dental Services for the affected population of St Pauls in Bristol, NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board are utilising the provisions of Regulation 32(2)(c) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 to award a contract for these services to SGA Services Limited.
