This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded in accordance with a competitive process (Regulation 11). The Contract Award Recommendation Report was approved in accordance with the delegated authority provided by the ICB Board (November 2025), with bidders notified of the intent to Award on 21st November 2025. This procurement underwent review during the standstill period by the NHS Cambridgeshire and Peterborough ICS (NHS C&P ICB) PSR Review Panel, and subsequently was reviewed by the NHSE Independent Patient Choice and Procurement panel, from which it was recommended that NHS C&P ICB should proceed with awarding the contract for the Provision of Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. The standstill period ended on 3rd December 2025. No conflicts of interest were declared by the NHS C&P ICB PSR Review Panel. The contract will be for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for up to a further 24-month period starting on 1st March 2027. The approximate lifetime value including the available extension is £103,505,950.
