Torbay Council is intending to undertake a future tender process to award a contract for a provider to develop and implement a wide-ranging healthy behaviour (lifestyle) service which takes into consideration wider workforce development and a range of delivery models and locations including digital/remote, face to face, groups, community and commercial settings. The following are examples of the type of services Torbay Council are considering to be included in the opportunity: Making Every Contact Count (MECC) training, Behavioural (tier 2) weight management services, specialist stop smoking services and physical activity advice and interventions.
