Coverage: 125 active published awards; 77 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Procedure rationaleAs the water companies are specific to the geographic location and the infrastructure is the
property of the specific water company, it is necessary to contract directly with the relevant
company in each English region, thus precluding a competition as each Water Company has
proprietary rights over and in respect of its own water network infrastructure, plants etc. Thereby
necessitating the need to make Direct |awards to each for it’s own regional under the auspices of
PCR 2015 (as amended) Regulation 32(2)(b) (iii) Exclusive Rights. |
