NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit on behalf of NHS England would like to notify the market of its intent to award contracts for the provision of Community Pharmacy Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Vaccination within the East of England Region following a single stage Competitive Process.<br/><br/>This service is for contracted period of 2 years and 7 months initial term with an extension period of up to 24 months (as required). The service commencement date is 18 September 2024 and will run until 31 March 2027 (with an option for the Commissioner to extend until 31/03/2029).<br/><br/>The lifetime value of the contracts are unknown, the price per vaccination is £9.58 and there is no capped limit for the number of vaccinations given per provider.<br/><br/>This is for a new service and has been awarded to new providers across 2 Lots as per the below;<br/><br/>Lot-1 - Mid & South Essex ICB [Total of 17 providers and 24 sites]<br/><br/>

These contracts have not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award a contract under the competitive process of the PSR.<br/><br/>Written representations need to be sent via the Atamis e-tendering portal, Project Reference: C297044 - COMPETITIVE: RSV Community Pharmacy Pathfinder Service.<br/><br/>The award decision makers are NHS England, the single stage Competitive process was approved by the Public Health Oversight Group (PHOG) of NHS England.<br/><br/>Declared conflicts of interest were assessed by the procurement process panel and deemed not to represent a legitimate conflict of interest.<br/><br/>The Key Criteria were weighted as follows;<br/>• Integration, Collaboration & Service Sustainability 40.00%<br/>• Improving access, reducing health inequalities and facilitating Choice 45.00%<br/>• Quality and Innovation 5.00%<br/>• Social Value 10.00%<br/>• Value Pass/Fail<br/><br/>The weightings for the 5 key criteria were determined by the procurement panel to give appropriate relative importance to each of the sections equally in line with the commissioning expectations for the service. The key criteria were all deemed to be off equal importance and were used to assess the providers performance accordingly.
