Provision of Access, Hand, Mobile and Small Plant Operator Training

This course will provide employees with the practical skills and knowledge necessary to safely assemble, dismantle, relocate and alter a mobile access tower without risk of personal injury to themselves or others in line with health and safety requirements. MEWP Static Vertical - Category 1a (IPAF Accredited)

MEWP Tracked Arial Platform - Category 1b (IPAF Accredited)

MEWP Mobile Boom - Category 3b (IPAF Accredited)

This course will give participants the skills and knowledge required to operate a 180° excavator below 10 tonnes correctly and be aware of the health and safety requirements to the NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) standard. This course will provide employees with the practical skills and knowledge necessary to maintain and operate chainsaws for cross cutting only in line with health and safety requirements. The course will contain an assessment, leading to a nationally recognised NPTC qualification for this activity.

Training required in City and Guilds Levels 2 and 3.

Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross Cutting

Felling and processing trees up to 380mm

Felling and processing trees over 380mm Additional information: Aerial Tree Pruning

Severing Uprooted or windblown trees using a chainsaw

Assisted Fell Operations
