    "description": "There is the need to build project leadership capability across Government and\nthose that work within major change programmes. Through NISTA (Cabinet\nOffice), Crown Commercial Service have procured a leadership training course\n(Project Leadership Programme) for senior project leaders. For some roles,\nattendance on this course may become mandatory to undertake the role within\nGovernment. For others, it is a recommended course to undertake and is a\nrecognised part of Defra’s, and wider government’s, SCS & G6 talent strategy. It\nalso forms an essential part of the process to become government accredited for\nProject Delivery.\nTo continue to comply with NISTA (Cabinet Office) requirements, Defra (and\nassociated ALBs) need to be able to nominate and send relevant candidates onto\nthis training, alongside colleagues from all other departments.\nThe application process is handled centrally within Defra by nominations through\nthe Project Delivery Profession (Kirsty Wildgoose as Chief Project Delivery\nOfficer). The main application is then completed online directly with Cranfield\nSchool of Management, the appointed provider.",
