This requirement has been competed twice under Crown Commercial Services Frameworks and this has elicited no winning bidders. Due to the urgency of this element of support, the Authority has identified that STORM Technologies can fulfil this requirement, and have been awarded the contract.
A Voluntary Transparency Notice was issued and this elicited no queries from other parties.
Publisher note: The Deployed Platform Services team, part of the UK Ministry of Defence, has awarded a 12-Month contract to STORM Technologies Limited, for the supply of support to Legacy equipment, that will be both hardware and software agnostic. The value of this requirement is £228,592.17 (ex VAT). The contract was placed using the negotiated procedure without prior publication of a contract notice pursuant to Article 28(1) (e) of Directive 2009/81/EC (Regulation 16(1) (a) (i) of the UK Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011) for competition failure. A Voluntary Ex Ante Transparency Notice was published on the 20th May 2021 and received no challenges. This requirement has been competed twice under Crown Commercial Services Frameworks and this has elicited no winning bidders. Due to the urgency of this element of support, the Authority has identified that STORM Technologies can fulfil this requirement.
