Coverage: 0 active published awards; 0 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
Cumberland Council, Programme Management Office is seeking to appoint two professional services providers, namely Architects, Building Surveyors, and Mechanical & Electrical Engineers to facilitate delivery of the schools prioritised capital improvements (PCI) programme for the financial year 2027/28.
It is anticipated that much of the construction work will take place during periods of school holidays, primarily summer breaks. However, some work with agreement of the particular school may be able to be conducted through the live school environment which should be explored during the scoping phase of the commission.
Each successful consultant will be distributed works into their individual programme; each will be balanced (where possible) based upon the number of projects and their respective estimated construction values. The Council holds all decisions relating to both programmes and how the projects within are allocated.
The contract is anticipated to commence on the 23rd of November 2026 and will continue for a period of 2 year(s), unless terminated in accordance with the Conditions of Contract.
The estimated total value of the contract over the total contract period (including any extension period) is a maximum value of £1,500,000 but no guarantee is given as to the actual value of the contract.
