Coverage: 52 active published awards; 51 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
Over 2023 the Children's Commissioning Team in Peterborough City Council (PCC) are carrying out a full recommissioning and procurement exercise to inform the new Community Short Breaks offer from April 2024. Alongside consultation with parent carers and professionals which is happening in parallel, we are seeking to engage with providers who would be interested in delivering a Community Short Break to children/young people with disabilities and/or complex needs.
The information gathered within this Soft Market Testing exercise will inform the approach PCC take to the new offer by helping to:
1. Gauge the level of the market interest in the delivery of Community Short Breaks.
2. Inform specification development.
3. Inform the different typed of services ('Lots') required.
4. Gauge potential consortium/partnership opportunities for delivering these services.
