What is being bought
The Elms is a 44 bed hostel and a 24/7 night shelter, the accommodation provides a combination of a night shelter and direct access hostel accommodation for single homeless individuals. • Occupants are provided with support in accordance with the Hertfordshire County Council, Housing Related Support framework . • Some units are utilised for Temporary Accommodation (TA) for single applicants that require TA as part of their homeless application . • The hostel is a vital element of the Council’s single homeless pathway and runs a night shelter provision which is open 365 nights a year,. This Dacorum Borough Council asset is under current management contract, which is expiring and therefore going out for re-tender. The Council are seeking views and feedback from interested parties and providers from similar services to shape and develop the tender specification.
