The current contract has been in place since 2015 and in light of market changes, we would like to invite potential suppliers to engage with NIBTS and to obtain a view of the markets current practices in the following area: • The serological testing of patient and donors’ blood samples, including any new developments or new products coming to the market place for this testing and the relevant systems used. The objectives of this supplier engagement exercise are to: • Gain initial supplier interest in the provision of Donation and Patient Testing – Automated Red Cell Immunohaematology for NIBTS • Gain insight on the market possibilities and potential innovative solutions. • Gain a better understanding of the feasibility of the NIBTS requirements and the most appropriate procurement approach to follow. • Establish how market ready suppliers currently are. • Ascertain how suppliers can assist the NIBTS to ensure Health and Safety and the highest environmental standards are met and to ensure compliance with all relevant and future legislation. • Understand risks and potential issues relating to supply and delivery of Donation and Patient Testing. Additional information: What you need to do now: 1) Request a copy of Request for Information (RFI) documents from palsgransha.sourcing@hscni.net.by 15.00 on 19th August 2024 2) If suppliers wish to upload a pre-recorded demonstration video this can be done via the Egress Secure Workspace. Access can be obtained by emailing palsgransha.sourcing@hscni.net 3) Complete the RFI forms. 4) Submit your completed RFI forms by emailing palsgransha.sourcing@hscni.net before the deadline at 15.00pm on 27th August 2024. 5) If desired, upload demonstration video via Egress before the deadline at 15.00pm on 27th August 2024. Your participation in any future tender is in no way connected to or dependent upon your completion / submission of the RFI documents.
